| I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003 with a degree in photography. My short comedy PAVLOV'S BATHROOM was accepted into the New York International Independent Film Festival in 2005. In 2008, my documentary about the professional video game world, FRAG, premiered @ AFI Dallas and received critical acclaim from indiewire, Cinematical, and Filmthreat, as well as many others. Since then, FRAG has screened internationally @ Berlin International Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, Cambridge, Ireland, South Africa and beyond. The Stevie Wondershow is my first narrative feature which I wrote, directed and produced on a nearly nonexistent budget. I am a filmmaker focused on storytelling and could be considered a 'Jack-of-all-trades' with experience in writing, directing, producing, editing, and every step of post-production. I have worked on national television commercials, music videos, and short fllms. This experience has helped me position myself as one of an emerging group of DIY filmmakers taking full advantage of new technology and the internet to produce and promote projects. I currently live and work in North Hollywood. |
